‘Memorabilia’ is a project that uses the features of traditional still life paintings, and explores those features in the photographic medium. For example the use of symbolism and the specific selection of subjects within the composition to communicate hidden meanings to the viewers. When choosing the subjects in these images I went with ones that have ties to my identity development, for example objects that represent my old and new past times. On the other hand some objects used in the images are constants throughout my life and have deep ties with specific memories.
